Formal gardens enhance car show experience

The Ault Park Concours d’Elegance is a nationally recognized car show that highlights some of the most spectacular automobiles and motorcycles of all time. Ault Park offers one of the most unique settings for a Concours in the country. Cars are displayed in the formal gardens of historic Ault Park, with a classic pavilion overlooking the show field, hosting an automotive art show and VIP brunch. A weekend of social functions and a casual road tour precede Sunday’s Concours.

Ault Park Concours – 2013

Two rare European cars received Best of Show honors at the 36th annual Ault Park Concours d’Elegance on June 9, 2013, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The two-tone 1938 Steyr 220 Glaser Roadster from Austria and the iconic 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder from Germany were introduced by Ed Lucas, noted concours judge and master of ceremonies.

Presentation of the handcrafted by the Rookwood Pottery awards was made by Bill Victor, the decades-long driving force behind the Ault Park Concours. The concours website states:

No one involved with the show has a broader or deeper knowledge of all vintages and makes of automobiles than Bill. His advice and contributions to making this show what it is today have been invaluable and it is for this reason that since 2009 the Best of Show trophy has been named in his honor.
